This week it's the China Super Series where we can see the best badminton raquets in the world. It's the last Super Series event of the year, before the Super Series Master Final, where we find the biggest price money: 400 000US$... (not much)
In the firts round, the young Jan O Jorgensen from Denmark defeated Lee Chong Wei rank number one in the world 21-6 13-21 21-17. It's a big win for the Dane. Jorgensen will be for sure in the top world players in the next few years. Earlier in the month, he beated Peter Gade at the Denmark Open Super Serie. Peter Gade is a legend in the badminton world, he's been on the international scene for few years and always been able to compete with the best asian badminton players. That's a good thing to see a younger Dane player win on an international tournament. Good luck to Jorgensen!
